Seeking the proficiency of an experienced Product Quality Engineer, to manage and optimise quality systems and processes for products, conducting root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
This newly created role would best suit someone who is familiar with quality assurance principles, testing methods and OH&S guidelines. You will be a team player, with effective communication skills to work with our Product Teams ANZ and liaise with the USA and China to keep ahead of the game in relation to product issues or trends.
What your day-today look like:
- Montior and reduce the number of defects found in products or processes to meet the set quality standards.
- Identify areas of improvement in processes and actively participate in implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a high FPY rate by ensuring products meet quality criteria in the first production fun, reducing rework and waste.
- Provide technical assistance during product lifecycle stages, including new product development and analysing market returns.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal departments and cross functional teams.
What you will bring to the role:
- Relevant experience in quality assurance, product testing and process improvement.
- Analytical mindset to conduct root cause analysis for customer complaints and product returns, providing valuable feedback for improvements.
- Proficient in maintaining the quality database, generating reports and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
