Product Sales Rep for growing online travel agency

DealsAway.com is one of Australia’s newest & fastest growing online package holiday brands. Born out of Covid in 2020 and based on the Gold Coast, we’re looking to add a new full-time Product Sales Rep to our team in Varsity Lakes.

We provide Australians with travel packages to the world's best destinations, with the best inclusions at the best prices. There’s an opportunity for a motivated Product Sales Rep who is driven, enthusiastic & passionate about sales & travel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales & customer service, a background in travel, as well as excellent communication & interpersonal skills. The ability to work well in a team environment is also essential with the ambition to drive new sales, grow our exciting business and work towards targets with us.

Key Responsibilities 

• Creating and maintaining strong relationships within our customer base
• Meeting weekly and monthly targets, and KPIs
• Providing quotes to customers departing on overseas trips
• Providing exceptional customer service to all customers
• Upselling and cross-selling insurance, tours, accommodation and more
• Assisting customers throughout the entire booking journey
• Providing our customers with pre-departure support
• Ensuring customer travel packages are booked correctly and run smoothly 

Our Ideal Candidate Has

• Past experience of working in the Tourism/Travel industry (Preferred not essential)
• A passion for travel and exploring the world
• Demonstrated ability to work towards KPIs and targets
• The ability to drive sales
• Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptional multi-tasking and problem solving skills
• Ability to upsell
• High attention to detail
• Be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
