Form of work- Airlock SME for End User Computing and VDI environment
- Sydney CBD location, hybrid WFH arrangement
- 6 month contract, immediate start
Our client is seeking an experienced Airlock SME for the End User Computing and VDI environment for all end points & related infrastructure.
You will colaborate with stakeholders to deliver an outstanding end user experience and manage the Standard Operating Environment, Applications and Software Updates.
You will be passionate about customer service and take ownership of all Airlock tasks to reduce cyber risk and improve the security posture by defining what files are to be trusted and block malware, ransomware and zero-day attacks.
You must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and an exceptional communicator, having outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across the company.
You will be responsible for the Airlock portal, implementing policies and end point protection covering desktops, workstations, and laptops. You will manage BAU requests for application patching, conduct Airlock checks and remove blocks during new application packaging or applying updates.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, administrative skills and strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
To be successful in this organisation you must be a self starter, able to work independently and keep focussed on the “big picture”.
Required experience
- Tertiary degree in computers, IT, or a related field.
- Have relevant security certifications at the associate level or higher.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication & cross-team collaboration skills.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting or a strong willingness to learn.
- Showcase solid experience in Airlock Digital regarding packaging applications using SCCM, Intune and VMWare Horizon.
- Demonstrate experience in managing user and computer policies through Group Policy, VMware DEM, SCCM or Intune
