As we continue to scale an opportunity has arisen for a motivated and energetic Motion Graphics creative who can flex into Video Editing as well.
Partnering closely with our knowledge team, you will use your understanding of SafetyCulture's products, problems and customers to create awesome and engaging Product Videos that make an impact.
You will work with a skilled team of creative professionals to support company goals and creative new media initiatives. Our ideal candidate is skilled in an array of Adobe software and motion graphics tools, and has video editing experience as well.
Tell me about the Role
- Become a product expert and understand the problems we're trying to solve for our customers.
- Design and create content about our products that support our vision for a best-in-class self-service experience for our customers.
- Own the end-to-end process for creating videos to achieve goals set out in briefs provided by the Knowledge Team, including:Interpret briefs from the Knowledge Team into creative scripts.
- Clearly plan and storyboard each video in collaboration with VX and Knowledge teams. For example, helping customers learn a specific feature in our mobile-first training product EdApp.
- Collaborate with SafetyCulture's talented in-house designers to create supporting illustrations and graphic designs, and use your motion graphics skills to animate and bring them to life.
- Edit and assemble footage and voiceover recordings created by in-house team members and external contractors.
- Produce each piece of content in-line with SafetyCulture's brand standards.
- Review drafts in close collaboration with the Knowledge Team and refine content based on internal feedback and customer data.
- Upload completed videos to Wistia and YouTube.
- Collaborate with the SEO Team to make sure content is optimised for search engines.
What do I Need?
- Strong scripting, writing, and producing experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a clear communicator who is able to design workflows and guide stakeholders who may not be familiar with the production process.
- Working video editing experience, including dialogue pacing, text titles, audio dialogue processing, etc in Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Premiere Pro.
- Intermediate level experience with Adobe After Effects
- Ability to layout and animate typography, transitions; design end frames and animate still elements of the product's interface.
- Ability to compose combined layouts on-screen (split screens etc), customise provided After Effects templates, and create your own.
- A proactive mindset that seeks to improve processes and verify with data.
