Production and Warehouse Supervisor

Honest to Goodness is a family-owned rapidly growing organic and natural food supplier based in Villawood. As Production and Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational flow of distribution and production activities and to ensure that orders and processes are delivered efficiently on time, within budget and to standard.

As a Production and Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

• Monitor and manage the production process, ensuring that production schedules are met, KPI’s achieved, and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitor and manage the warehouse process, ensuring that dispatches and receipts schedules are met, KPI’s and service level achieved, and quality standards are maintained. 
• Plan, organize and monitor the daily workflow of distribution and production operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control.
• Oversee the preventative maintenance schedule in place for all machinery and equipment within the Production and Warehouse.

This role reports to both the Warehouse and Distribution Manager and Production Manager and is full time, Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.00pm

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience working in warehousing and production in a supervisor capacity, preferably within the food production environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate teams.
• Excellent administration, time management, planning, and organisational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word processing skills.
• Solution orientated approach to problem solving.
• Basic knowledge of machine fitting and applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems.
• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety rules and practices and HACCP and GMP.
