Thanks to this phenomenal growth, they are seeking a Production Assistant to join their team in their Delacombe based manufacturing and distribution facility.
The Role
As the Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business throughout all stages of the paint production process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with production
- Monitor the production process and ensure a smooth and continuous operation of paint line production process
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks on the production line post training
- Operate machinery and handle hazardous substances/dangerous goods in a safe manner
- Ensuring the warehouse and factory space is swept and organisation maintained
About You
To be successful in this position, our desired applicant:
- Has a keen eye for detail and ability to troubleshoot
- Has a proven history of safety compliance
- Is known for their strong work ethic - reliability, trustworthiness, and willingness to get the job done!
- Has the ability to work well in a small team, but also work independently
- Has a positive attitude, a keenness to learn and the ability to problem solve.
The Essentials
- Experience in a Warehouse/Manufacturing environment would be highly regarded
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 5kgs
- The successful applicant will be asked to complete a Police Check and pre-employment medical declaration
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
