Production Assistant

The role:

The primary objective of the Men’s Production Assistant is to support the Production Manager, Coordinators, and Artists in executing the product lifecycle for in-house brands. By closely collaborating with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders throughout the production process, the Production Assistant significantly influences the development of high-quality products, manages production costs, and contributes to driving company profitability.
 

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure they receive necessary technical packs, including artwork, fabric swatches, etc.
• Assist in monitoring and following up with suppliers regarding sampling timelines, providing weekly updates.
• Support in managing supplier invoicing.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming stock and samples.
• Provide guidance to small departments from order placement to delivery, where applicable.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and complete them within specified timelines.
• Cultivate strong relationships and communication channels with buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
• Aid in the creation of technical packs and CADs.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing high-volume workloads.
• Exhibit strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
   

What we're looking for:

• Proficiency in using various Adobe software applications.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
• Previous experience in collaborating with offshore suppliers is advantageous.
• Mandarin speaking is highly regarded but not mandatory.
