Form of workFuse Recruitment have partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Due to significant growth, they require a Production Chemist to join the company on an on-going casual basis.
The Successful Candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience within a pharma environment, and be involved in synthesis, scale up and production of drugs for pre-clinical trials required by international clients.

Duties of the role include (but not limited to):
- Manufacturing APIs and finished products according to cGMP requirements
- Executing batch records, logs and other necessary GMP documentation for manufacturing
- Providing support with resolving technical manufacturing issues
- Complying with GMP requirements
- Effective management of materials and components
- Maintaining a safe work environment
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science preferably in pharmaceutical sciences or related
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Physical fitness and great health
- Strong ability to work well within a team and confident working autonomously
- Strong ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, self-starter with the perseverance to overcome challenges!
- Great communication skills – Both verbal and written
