Our client owns and operates an innovative agricultural business comprised of three enterprises running across 4,300 Ha in the Yeoval district of Central West NSW, with a total average carrying capacity of 32,000 DSE. Poll Merino, livestock trading, and Grain pasture/fodder cropping enterprises are run in a progressive, intensive, and integrated system that sees the business push the boundaries of production and take advantage of seasonal variability rather than suffer from it.
The properties boast all modern/new machinery, including a FENDT 963 tractor, Stoll 10,000 lt boom, Bourgault Disc Seeder, Landaco 15 tonne Fert Spreader, Bobcat 870 Skid Steer loader, K-Line 8.2m Power Flex Speed Tiller, and K-Line 13-ton ThunderRipper. The grazing and cropping side of the business is a powerhouse of production and is continually improved, with 950 hectares per year of winter /summer fodder and Grain crops.
This exciting and diverse position will involve you in all day-to-day operations and maintenance of the grain/ fodder cropping and pasture development enterprise, operating a new fleet of machinery listed above. With constant development across existing and newly purchased land, you will also gain diversity in your role by being involved in the management of the livestock operations.

Requirements
- A minimum of five years working in intensive cropping/livestock operations.
- Working knowledge of grain production and pasture/crop management with the ability to maximise soil and animal outcomes.
- Machinery operation and maintenance experience, as well as practical mechanical knowledge, is ideal.
- Experience with an interest in Agronomy looked upon favourably.
- Sound knowledge of grazing management and sheep and cattle husbandry.
- Acceptance of new technologies & production methods
- Ability to communicate and work independently.
- Excellent time management with practical problem-solving skills.
- Current driver's licence essential
