We are entering another exciting growth phase, and an opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Production Controller to take full ownership of the scheduling of workflow through the shop floor.
This is a key operational role reporting to the Chief Operations Officer that will oversee the complete life cycle of manufacturing process, goods in, goods out, inspection and inventory for our extensive customer base.
Your role will ensure we meet key project deliverables while maintaining internal standards, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:- Overseeing the production control and operation of the advanced manufacturing shop floor.
- Managing the flow of goods and supplies through the stores and shopfloor environment.
- Maintaining safe, healthy, risk-free working environment
- Managing relevant quality audit responses, coordinating non-conformances as well as corrective and preventative actions.
- Updating and maintaining operational documentation where applicable.
- Working with staff to continually develop, implement and improve relevant product, procedures, processes.
- Experience minimum of 3+years in a similar role operating under ISO 9001 / AS 9100 (or similar) quality systems in the setting of an advanced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated competent inspection skills and experience in measurement systems.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and technical data.
- Diligent record keeping.
- Hands-on and practical approach to work methods.
- Highly effective decision making and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Results-orientated, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to succeed and improve processes.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts to all levels of the business.
- Ability to build strong relationships with all departments.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar workflow tools would be advantage, full training will be given as required.
Location:
Conflux Technology on is situated on the Deakin University, Waurn Ponds campus.
Conflux operates on a 38-hour week Monday to Friday with a flexible start and finish times. Due to the nature of additive manufacturing some work outside standard hours will be required from time to time.
Salary package negotiable depending on experience.
