Production Draftsperson

This is a highly rewarding and challenging opportunity for an experienced and driven Production Draftsperson to join our friendly, hardworking drafting team in Robina.

Reporting to the Drafting Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately use AutoCAD and REVIT to prepare and complete architectural drawings within designated time frames
• Ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect customer requirements as described in the sales estimate, as well as in accordance with building regulations and Metricon standards
• Complete checking on other draftee’s work
• Liaising with consultants, suppliers and internal departments
• Maintain and constantly develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes in order to complete work confidently.

• Formal qualifications in Architectural Drafting (Diploma or higher)
• Must have a minimum 2 years Australian AutoCAD and Revit Drafting experience, preferably within the volume residential building industry
• A STRONG understanding of the residential home building and construction process
• Exposure to and competent use of QLD Building Standards and regulations
• The ability to communicate professionally, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Be able to implement a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.

This role requires a national police check to be undertaken.
