JOB DESCRIPTION:

We seek a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our print and sign manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will manage all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to quality control and team management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print and sign manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer orders and deadlines efficiently.

- Coordinate production schedules, material procurement, and workflow to optimise productivity and minimise downtime.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for all print and sign products.

- Supervise and lead a team of production staff, including overseeing training, and performance management. 

- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Maintain inventory levels and control costs associated with materials and supplies.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, and graphic design, to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.

- Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all production staff.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, technology advancements, and print and sign manufacturing best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience in print and sign manufacturing is preferred, but all experience managing a production team with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role will be taken into consideration

-  Technical knowledge of print and sign production processes and equipment would be helpful but not necessary 

- Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a collaborative work environment. Your ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader.

- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
