B&R Enclosures is seeking a individual to lead and manage our production team in Adelaide (Wingfield). The successful applicant will report to the Plant Manager ensuring our production team operates safely and efficiently delivering on business objectives. The Production Manager will be an effective leader who will be responsible for developing a collaborate environment, producing quality products to customers on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop production team leaders
- Create and execute production schedule
- Manage the allocation of labour, machinery and materials
- Ensure a safe workplace
- Ensure the production team follows quality policies and procedures
- Analyse, identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using the latest manufacturing and system technology
- Ensure quality of products meet specification requirements
- Provide guidance for the production team on lean manufacturing principles
The successful applicant will have,
- Trade qualifications and further tertiary education
- Extensive manufacturing background
- Experience leading and managing production team
- Experience with ERP and Inventory management systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
