About the role:
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to be working in the Cook Room in the Night Shift. This is a full-time permanent role and an excellent opportunity to make a long-term career within a reputed food manufacturing business. This will involve training on day shift for a few weeks, before transitioning to Night Shift.

- Previous experience in Food Manufacturing/ FMCG.

- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player with an ability to relate to a diverse group of people.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety, food safety and basic cleanliness rules.
- Awareness/knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing.
How will you add value to this role:
Reporting to the Cooking Team Leader, you will be accountable for operating and maintaining company equipment while working within the production team. Some of the key tasks will include:
- Operating machinery/equipment and following processes.
- Identifying and reporting hazards and working with the Team Leader to rectify.
- Complying with Quality, GMP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies, standards and procedures.
- Continually improving the quality of products and the productivity of plant and equipment.
- Maintaining appropriate housekeeping standards.
- Fulfilling your work commitments and being punctual and courteous. Showing empathy, enthusiasm, knowledge, initiative and discipline at all times. Complying with all good manufacturing quality practices.
- Undertaking training as required.
