Form of workWe have an exciting opportunity at our Wynyard location for a Production Operator. You will commence in our packing area while you learn our processes through documentation recording & quality control. Once you’ve successfully completed this, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge into other exciting areas and/or take on more responsibilities.

The Role
As a Production Operator, you’ll be operating, monitoring and cleaning complex process and packing machinery, ensuring the product specifications are met according to our customer requirements.
You’ll also be recording key product and process information in our database and using your mechanical capabilities to carry out basic maintenance checks.
This role will see you work 4 on (2 days 2 nights), 4 off, 12 hours shifts on a 24/7 rotational roster.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a switched-on, self-motivated team member. As someone who uses their initiative and works autonomously, you’ll also be a great team player - working collaboratively with others to problem solve and identify improvement initiatives.
This is a fulfilling role where you’ll need some mechanical aptitude and high regard for health, safety & quality to succeed.
Other key skills and experience include:
- Experience in the food industry or manufacturing would be beneficial
- Solid numeracy and literacy skills
- Basic to good computer skills
