About the Role

We are looking for an aspiring and enthusiastic Production Operator to join our Team at Moorooka.  The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Milling production, set up for long-term success with Mauri. This role will work in accordance with a rotating roster shift pattern, requiring both day and night shifts.

In this role, you will:

• Support the entire milling process
• Support leaders in troubleshooting production situations
• Ensure all daily production shift reports are accurately completed
• Drive safety and continuous improvement in our Mill
• Give you the scope of upskilling and receiving above award remuneration.
• Immerse you in a warm and close-knit working environment.
• Provide developmental support and mentoring throughout the learning process.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An interest in the milling and bakery business
• Eagerness to learn the art of Flour Milling
• Process-driven attitude and problem-solving skillset
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focused attitude
• Experience in food processing and/or manufacturing (advantageous but not essential)
• Familiarity with food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) (advantageous but not essential)
