About the Role:
The Production Planner plays an important role in managing production planning across all manufacturing sites to ensure the timely delivery of products to customers.
This position requires meticulous coordination of workflows, stock transfers, and stock control to meet customer promises. You will also be responsible for providing exception reporting and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Coordinate workflows and allocate resources to ensure timely manufacturing of end products meeting customer delivery promises.
- Stock Management: Manage stock transfers between facilities and ensure accuracy of stock levels in ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Exception Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reporting on orders unable to meet customer promises.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to and promote safe work practices, report unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Provide backup support to National Operations Manager and perform other tasks as directed.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in planning for complex multistage production processes.
- Experience in textile-related product production is advantageous.
- Diploma/Degree in related discipline is an advantage.
- Be willing to travel interstate when required
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in using MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.). AND Production Planning Software; Orchestrate knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with ERP Systems, MYOB experience is advantageous.
- Strong customer service focus.

- High organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.

- Knowledge of health and safety practices in production environments.
