Days & Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm (30 min lunch break)
Hourly wage: $35 per hour
Level 1 Duties:
As a Level 1 Precast Concrete Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality precast concrete elements. Your responsibilities include:
Setting up molds or forms according to specifications for pouring concrete.
Mixing concrete ingredients manually or using machinery such as concrete mixers.
Pouring concrete into molds or forms, ensuring it spreads evenly and fills all spaces.
Smoothing and leveling concrete surfaces using tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats.
Placing and securing reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh within concrete forms.
Operating heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, or hoists to move and position precast concrete elements.
Removing molds or forms from cured concrete pieces carefully to avoid damaging the product.
Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Inspecting finished precast elements for defects or imperfections and making necessary repairs or adjustments.
Assisting in loading, unloading, and transporting precast concrete elements to designated locations.
Patching and repairing damaged or defective precast concrete elements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in concrete work or construction is preferred.
Ability to follow specifications and work with precision.
Familiarity with the operation of heavy machinery (cranes, forklifts, hoists) is an advantage.
Physical strength and stamina for manual labor.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a construction environment.
