As a Production Scheduler, you'll assume a pivotal position in overseeing and upholding precise production schedules. Your duties encompass maintaining production accuracy, overseeing system production shifts, and generating production reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update arrival dates of overseas containers, prioritise tasks, and establish delivery sequences.
- Develop a schedule that aligns with container deliveries and production plans while considering customer priorities.
- Prepare a concise bill of materials to support production planning, identifying and expediting shortages as necessary.
- Coordinate and uphold due dates for all job orders, ensuring they correspond with the production schedule.
- Aid the operations team by initiating purchase service orders in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory accuracy by initiating necessary stock adjustments.
- Generate and distribute production reports to assist production planning and facilitate operations meetings.
- Previous experience in planning roles
- Confident with Excel and WMS/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in planning and organisation.
- Problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
