We are seeking a forward-thinking, highly organised administrator with strong communication skills and experience or knowledge having worked in a production / manufacturing environment to join a highly motivated team, committed and exceptional at what they do.
About the role:
Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Manager, your primary role is to ensure the daily planning and scheduling of all jobs for the production team.
Attention to detail is critical combined with your strong organisational skills ensuring jobs go into and come out of production in a timely manner.
- Create and plan production schedules for the Production team
- Create reports on weekly work progress, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Generate demand planning reports to optimise labour allocation and update the sales and customer service team on achievable lead times
- Collaborate with the factory manager / purchasing ensuring parts are available for production
- Be proactive in the delivery of parts ahead of time to facilitate timely installation
- Analyse and resolve any production problems
About you:
- Strong administration skills with demonstrated expertise in production scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- Solution focused and improvement orientated
- Possess a good level of basic maths skills
- Professional approach, able to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, WMS, and ERP software
