About the role - Production Supervisor
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to effectively lead and influence the manufacturing team in the production of quality products, with zero harm, on time and on budget. Maximise the utilisation of all equipment, with effective management of planning and design software, maintenance and removal of bottlenecks, while efficiently implementing new technology and equipment. Continue to improve and develop the team, facility, and business in this essential role in the business. Backup the Production Manager in all planning, scheduling, quoting responsibilities.
Candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years industry experience.
- Competent Fabricator/Boilermaker.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, influencing and training teams.
- Experience in scheduling, quoting, Microsoft suite, ERP systems.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in short time frames.
- Lateral thinker with practical problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgements.
- Strong customer focus, and excellent communication skills
- Be passionate about Safety and Quality.
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality management Systems
- Sheet metal fabrication experience and sound knowledge of sheet steel.

- Desire to help the team and business improve, with a positive attitude.
To be successful, you will be expected to have the following:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
- Forklift license.
- First Aid Qualification.
- Dogging HRW licence
