About the role
The Production Supervisor works within a team of employees with and without disability. This role ensures that the work is undertaken in a safe, rewarding environment and that production output meets set resourcing and productivity forecasts as well as quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
The position works broadly across the disability enterprises and closely with the Production Coordinator.
Ideally we are looking for someone with a positive work ethic, moderate computer skills, high level of attention to detail and an understanding of work health safety. Experience in production or warehousing is not essential as training will be provided.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a genuine team player who will contribute to the team
- Knowledge of Disability Service Standards
- NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Desirable
- Relevant qualification and or experience in similar industry
- A working knowledge of the supported employment environment in a production setting.
- Good working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP)
- Good understanding of service techniques; measures, weighs, blends and mixes various foods; coverts and adjust recipes
