The role
Based out of our HQ in Knoxfield some of the key responsibilities of this role will include
- Supervise all work carried out in testing, assembly, despatch, warehousing, card programming and reporting to Production Manager and Operations Manager
- Thorough knowledge of all areas mentioned above and the ability to train staff if required. The Production Supervisor is the point of call for all factory staff.
- Undertake Production administration tasks such as data entry, invoicing, ETA reports for distributors and compliance paperwork.
- Assist Production Engineer with maintenance of Production procedures.
- Involved in the release and training of new products or procedures into Production.
- Maintaining stock and housekeeping on the Production floor ie; addressing stock qty issues, finding missing stock, organising raw materials on the floor, organisation of the various Production areas.
- Ensure each area of Production is working harmoniously as a team and communication is open, resolving any issues where possible or escalating to Production Manager or Operations Manager when required.
- Work closely with the Production Planner to ensure deadlines are met and work is scheduled efficiently.
- Work closely with Management to determine the best strategies to improve processes and efficiency.
- Ensure quality requirements are met and all required procedures followed to ensure OH&S and quality compliance.

- Computer literate in MS Office programs
- Experience using ERP software (Pronto experience highly regarded)
- Basic electronic component identification and troubleshooting skills favoured

- Ability to learn new skills and be promotable
- Preparedness to jump in and get involved where required
