Production Supervisor

The role

Based out of our HQ in Knoxfield some of the key responsibilities of this role will include

• Supervise all work carried out in testing, assembly, despatch, warehousing, card programming and reporting to Production Manager and Operations Manager
• Thorough knowledge of all areas mentioned above and the ability to train staff if required. The Production Supervisor is the point of call for all factory staff.
• Undertake Production administration tasks such as data entry, invoicing, ETA reports for distributors and compliance paperwork.
• Assist Production Engineer with maintenance of Production procedures.
• Involved in the release and training of new products or procedures into Production.
• Maintaining stock and housekeeping on the Production floor ie; addressing stock qty issues, finding missing stock, organising raw materials on the floor, organisation of the various Production areas.
• Ensure each area of Production is working harmoniously as a team and communication is open, resolving any issues where possible or escalating to Production Manager or Operations Manager when required.
• Work closely with the Production Planner to ensure deadlines are met and work is scheduled efficiently.
• Work closely with Management to determine the best strategies to improve processes and efficiency.
• Ensure quality requirements are met and all required procedures followed to ensure OH&S and quality compliance.

• Computer literate in MS Office programs 
• Experience using ERP software (Pronto experience highly regarded)
• Basic electronic component identification and troubleshooting skills favoured

• Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to learn new skills and be promotable
• Preparedness to jump in and get involved where required
