Production Supervisor – Day Shift (0730-1530)

Multigate Medical Products (MMP) is one of Australia and New Zealand's leading suppliers of procedure packs and medical consumables for the public and private hospital markets. We are a proud family-owned business founded in 1986 that has grown significantly from humble beginnings.

As a result of this continued growth, we are moving to a new state of the art and modern premises in Yennora in 2025. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our morning shift team (0730-1530), currently located in Villawood, Sydney.

The role reports to the Production Manager and is a key role in the collation and dispatch of critical medical products on behalf of MMP.  You will co-ordinate and supervise the activities and results of the morning production shift including their safety and overall efficiency.

In conjunction with the planned move to new premises, MMP is also undertaking significant technology, process changes together with teamwork upskilling and so we seek a genuine leader in this role.

About You 

• Experienced in overseeing the production process ensuring that products are moved, assembled, and manufactured efficiently on time and within strict quality standards.
• Experienced in ensuring production planning, scheduling and targets are optimised, duly reported and analysed for improvement 
• Coach, mentor and influence a team of twelve team leaders and well over 100 operators towards high performance and excellence in the performance of their roles as well as adapt to changing processes and technology.
• Have substantial experience in a fast-paced and/or a ‘clean room’ environment, ideally that has gone through some form of significant transition. 
• Highly developed people leadership/management skills.
• Previous experience in moving from a manually driven process to a digitised, technological and data driven methodology would also be welcomed.
• An ability to put forward value-based improvements and ideas.
• Given the very diverse workforce at MMP, a second language such as Mandarin or Vietnamese would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
• A degree and/or previous experience with Microsoft/365 technology would also be highly beneficial but is not essential.
