Production Supervisor – Industrial Seating

Our Client is a leading seating Manufacturer and distributor who supply a variety of sectors to include Construction, Mining and workplaces.This role will oversee a team of 6 assemblers and will focus on scheduling and planning the production of custom seating.The ideal candidate for this role will either be a Mechanical engineer with assembly line experience or an experienced Production supervisor / team leader looking for the next step in their career.Key responsibilities will include;

• Creating new BOM’s (Bills of materials) and Maintaining the BOM library.
• Plan and Schedule the production inline with client orders.
• Identify root causes of production downtime and develop and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee a team of 6 assemblers.

Key requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or mechanically minded with relevant production work history.
• Previous assembly line experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001
• Strong time management and planning skills
• Previous experience conducting RCA’s (root cause analysis).
• Current full, Australian drivers licence.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
