Overview: 

The Production Technician at OncoRes Medical is responsible for the completion of low volume production work according to manufacturing instructions and design documentation to support the delivery of products to clinical trials and customers, supporting the realisation of OncoRes Medical’s product development hardware program. The successful candidate will be a key member of OncoRes Medical’s Hardware Program Team and expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Research and Development group.

Role:

  • Low volume manufacture and inspection of medical device components in a controlled manufacturing environment. 
  • In-process testing of medical device components to ensure quality, performance, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety by establishing and maintaining safe working practices. 
  • Maintenance of inventory, including supporting the receival, inspection and storage of incoming materials, and packaging, despatch, and shipping of outgoing goods. 
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of products and test equipment. 
  • Support of additive manufacturing processes used to prototype products and test equipment. 
  • Collaboration with the Research and Development group to identify and support the implementation of improvements in manufacturing processes. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manufacture of medical device components with adherence to manufacturing work instructions. 
  • Maintain accurate and complete production records. 
  • Ensure production areas are clean, orderly, and safe. 
  • Comprehensive testing of medical device components with adherence to test protocols. 
  • Routine monitoring and maintenance of controlled manufacturing environment. 
  • Manage inventory related to production, including purchasing, inspection, and storage of incoming materials, and packaging, despatch, and shipping of outgoing goods. 
  • Operate within a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO-13485. 
  • Manufacture and testing to support development of new designs and processes. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production of highly regulated products, preferably medical device manufacture. 
  • Strong collaborative skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a personal dedication to the quality of work performed. 
  • Ability to remain professional and positive in all personal interactions, and work with honesty and transparency while being committed to doing what’s best for our patients, customers, and company. 
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Australia. 

Desirable Experience: 

  • Medical or Regulated Device manufacturing compliant with a Quality Management System. 
  • Experience performing manufacturing processes within a controlled environment. 
  • Completion of manufacturing records according to Good Documentation Practices
