We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician with Mechanical experience for a full time, permanent position.
This position will perform efficient and effective maintenance across a variety of Mobility Equipment, ensuring safe and reliable work outcomes.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to our local customer base by repairing, maintenance, & servicing of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, lift chairs, hospital beds, patient lifters, power wheelchairs, and rollators.
- Installation of bathroom and other household equipment
- Responsible for work vehicles. Refuelling, cleaning, and maintenance
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position and/or within a warehouse operation
- Attention to detail.
- Manual handling duties
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross functional, team orientated environment.
- Forklift license
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Possess a positive attitude with the ability to provide high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Police clearance check
- Proof of influenza and covid-19 vaccinations
- Test & Tag machine experience. (Not essential but desirable)
- Operating wireless barcode scanners
