With customers across USA, Europe and Australia, we are looking to rapidly scale our product offering and production capabilities. To support this growth, we are looking to add to our talented team of Production Technicians at our Mulgrave (Melbourne) site.
About the role
Join our dynamic and collaborative team working in a stimulating environment that involves the assembly and testing of parts and completed imaging systems. As a Production Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and assembly of complex micro-optical and electro mechanical parts by following detailed work instructions.
- Operate custom automation equipment for precision assembly processes.
- Troubleshooting sub-assemblies and reporting any quality issues.
- Collaborating with Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams for prototype builds.
- Active participation in company 5S and continuous improvement activities.
About you
- Experience in working on complex micro-optical part assemblies.
- Demonstrated experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) operation (essential).
- Proven ability to maintain reporting, documentation, and organization.
- Safety-conscious and cautious when handling sensitive components.
- Experienced with the Microsoft Office package, with a focus on effective communications.
- Good motor skills for accurate assembly of fine components.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work priorities.
Desirable experience
- High School Certificate or equivalent; technical certificate or certification highly regarded.
- Experience in reading and following complex work instructions.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with clean room operations.
- Electromechanical or Optical industry experience.
