About this Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Shot Blast operator to work in our Shot Blast room at our Gold Coast facility. This is an important step in our powder coating process and although it can be a demanding role, it will be shared with another team member. Training will be provided.
This role will be responsible for:
- Work to a daily schedule and target
- Setting up and blasting flange pipe in accordance with company standard operating procedures and quality policies and procedures
- Follow instructions from team leader or supervisor
- Use machinery in a safe manner and wear appropriate PPE ensuring compliance with all company WHS policies and procedures
- Maintain machinery and equipment in a professional manner
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Hardworking and dedicated
- Goal-orientated and ability to work towards targets
- Previous experience with blasting and coating is desirable
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Ability to work in a team environment
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment which includes drug and alcohol testing. You will also require full Australian work rights.
