The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Professional Education Manager to join our "Commercial Learning" team based in Sydney. This role supports regional and country teams to maximise the commercial impact of our solutions through engaging and informative learning experiences for field and professional audiences.
Working cross functionally and in partnership with both Global and Regional Teams, our commercial learning team are responsible for designing and developing educational programs that enable us to bring new products to market, ensuring professional adoption of new products and services through educating Cochlear Staff and Professionals on how our solutions bring value.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and deliver engaging learning strategies and solutions for new product launches that enable regional teams to upskill customer facing teams and professionals to full capability & performance in a timely manner.
- Lead subject matter experts through the process of designing, developing, and delivering education on new product to our regions and countries.
- Develop "best in class" blended learning experiences and assets for professionals that are innovative, hands-on and available "on-demand".
- Support the optimal use of current learning platforms and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery of learning solutions that represent the actual needs and use cases of professionals and field staff.

Essential
- Demonstrated experience working in Learning and Development with the Med-tech industry.
- Certificate IV in training and assessment or equivalent
- Strong Instructional design skills, writing training for Adult Learning
- Well-developed project management Skills
- Ability to channel and facilitate open conversations across regions and SME's.
- Commercial mindset and experience working in a sales/clinical/surgical customer-facing role.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Desired Skills
- Sales/Marketing or Clinical experience in medical devices or pharma
