We are seeking an experienced Risk Consultant to join our Professional Practice team in Sydney. This internal role will contribute to the effective management of the firm’s operational risks and support client service staff delivering quality engagements for our clients. This role is open to both full-time and part-time hours, offering flexibility to suit your needs.
What you will do
- Contribute to the effective management of the firm’s Professional Risks in conjunction with the firm’s Risk Management Committee.
- Contribute to the development, oversight, and enhancement of key firm policies particularly those that relate to project delivery and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain checklists, templates, and guidance materials to support client service staff delivering quality engagements efficiently and consistently.
- Contribute to the design and content of Advisory service line InSite pages resources to make it easier for client service staff to locate information to win and deliver engagements.
- Develop communication to the firm about technical matters and policy updates.
- Assist with the development and delivery of training to assist client service staff execute quality work to a consistent high standard.
- Assist with the delivery of the firm’s Quality Review Program.
Who you are
- Experience in professional services, ideally at a Manager level or above, with a background in consulting being highly advantageous.
- Hold a university degree or equivalent qualification.
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear articulation of risk assessment findings and remediation requirements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with independence compliance and relevant regulatory frameworks would be beneficial.
- A meticulous attention to detail, committed to delivering accuracy and quality across all facets of your work.
