An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Program Change Lead to join the Change Management team in Strategy, Portfolio & Investment (SP&I). This role will be supporting the Electrical Isolation Improvement Program (EIIP) within Engineering & Maintenance branch in Sydney Trains. This is a temporary fixed term role for up to 8 months.


In this role, you'll:

  • Be embedded within a large-scale strategic program team, partnering with EIIP Program Lead and reporting to the Director Program Management Office whilst being part of a central Change team.
  • Work closely with the project leadership team, you will be instrumental in devising and executing strategies that enhance change management, communication, and adoption.
  • Be responsible for supporting change activities across two different streams of work which will require customised change plans based on the proposed solution and technology.
  • Play a critical role in delivering a tailored change management plan across various audiences that supports seamless business integration and user adoption.
  • Lead a small team of direct reports and drive the Program change approach in consultation with key stakeholders.


This is a TSSM level role offering an attractive remuneration package.

About you


You are authentic, collaborative, experienced, driven and a customer-centric change professional with a track record delivering large-scale, safety & operational-critical transformational programs in a highly regulated and unionised environment. Your expertise includes working on multidisciplinary programs, developing and implementing change plans and communicating impacts to the business.


Your resilience, determination, and ability to overcome unexpected challenges that can arise in a large and ever-changing highly industrial landscape will prove beneficial to your success. You will ideally hold a certification or qualifications in change management such as Prosci and have knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2, PMBOK, Agile.
