About the Role

This position is responsible for workplace Rehabilitation and injury management services and support to the organisation where employees have suffered a work-related injury, illness or condition, in accordance with legislative, self-insurance and organisational requirements to ensure their safe Return to the workplace.

This position is the primary conduit between an employee, their supervisor/manager and treating medical and allied health professionals in the identification, facilitation, negotiation and implementation of a safe workplace rehabilitation program where the employee may be suffering from a physical and/or psychological injury, illness or condition.

About You

Our ideal applicant will have proven experience for high level case management to a diverse, multi-disciplined organisation for work related injuries, illness and conditions and early intervention programs with proven ability to educate, influence, coach, mentor and forge strong stakeholder relationships based on the provision of informed, sound services and support that builds an environment of trust and respect.

Sound knowledge of current and emerging Rehabilitation and injury management trends. Demonstrated experience in managing psychosocial hazards in the workplace, including risk assessments. High level of writing skills including the ability to develop and produce formal correspondence to injured/ill employees, supervisors, managers and treating or independent health practitioners.
