Division summaryThe Strategy and Support Division works directly with people affected by cancer, clinicians, researchers and policymakers. Our purpose is to reduce inequities and improve outcomes for all people affected by cancer, now and into the future. Our division comprises Cancer Information and Support Services, Research Governance and Business Operations, Cancer Strategy and the McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer.
The Business Management team, which is part of the Research Governance and Business Operations unit, ensures optimal operational functions for the Strategy and Support Division, including providing business and event administration support and facilitating collaboration across the Division.
About your opportunityWe are seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Strategy & Support Division. Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, your role is responsible for:
- Coordinating cancer information resource orders including managing stock levels, processing orders and stock printing.
- Coordinating the approval process of national and state-based cancer information and support publications. Materials include booklets, fact sheets, manuals and online content.
- Providing comprehensive support for virtual and face to face events [e.g. training, workshops, webinars] including collation of materials, registration, technical support for running presentations via Zoom or Teams, and conducting event evaluations.
- Occasionally working after-hours for which time-in-lieu will be provided.
- Working collaboratively with the business operations team to provide administration support across the Division.
- An experienced admin whizz with relevant office experience.
- You like working on multiple things, are organised and take initiative to complete tasks.
- You’re skilled with creating presentations and are comfortable with being the ‘go-to’ person to run the tech for online presentations.
- You’re a problem solver and like working with people across the division.
- You get a sense of satisfaction ticking jobs off your list and completing tasks as a high standard.
- You're comfortable with digital platforms and can easily pick up new technologies on the fly.
- Base salary of $69,090 to $74,464 p.a. (dependant on experience) plus 11% superannuation
