Universal Higher Education (UHE) is an accredited higher education provider. Based in Melbourne, UHE offers bachelor courses in Information Technology, and film and television. UHE is looking for a Program Coordinator, Information Technology who has experience in teaching and course management. Experience in course or unit coordination and industry experience would be highly desirable.
About the position
The Program Coordinator will report to the Chief Academic Officer. The role will provide leadership in course management, delivery, review, and ongoing enhancement. The role will also manage a small team of teaching staff and ensure quality assurance and maintenance of standards.
The Program Coordinator will be part of various academic committees such as Academic Board, Teaching and Learning Committee, Results Ratification Committee, and Course Development Committee. The Program Coordinator is expected to teach in the course.
Key selection criteria
- Qualifications in Information Technology discipline, preferably at PhD level or equivalent
- Experience in course or unit coordination at undergraduate or postgraduate level
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Information Technology courses
- Experience in quality assurance and enhancement of courses
- Experience in TEQSA accreditation and re-accreditation
- Active in ongoing professional development
