We have a unique opportunity for a Program Coordinator to join our national Technology, Engineering and Knowledge (TEK) division on a 12-month Parental Leave Contract.
Based out of John Holland's Brisbane office, you will be responsible for leading the coordination and support of Learning and Development (L&D) programs to support the enablement of engineering and innovation capabilities across various TEK teams. You will interface with external industry bodies and consultants to support successful delivery of specific work programs.
In addition, this role will provide support in the administrative coordination of the Construction Engineering and Innovation & Enablement teams, including logistics & travel, reporting, and administration of the SharePoint repositories and communities of practice platforms.
This position would suit someone with a Learning & Development or Training Coordination background.
About the Role
Learning & Development Coordination
- Coordinate and support the delivery of TEK learning & development offerings, strategies and tools within time and budget allocation
- Coordinate and support the designing of learning solutions using a range of delivery methods based on identified capability needs
- Manage administration of course and learner records via the John Holland learning management system for TEK delivered training
- Support the teams to implement effective repositories, communities of practice, and internal systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
Program Coordination
- Plan and organise other TEK associated programs as required
- Manage and support the day-to-day activities of TEK ensuring activities are planned, managed and effectively delivered including implementation of continuous improvement
- Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure well-coordinated programs and initiatives are implemented
- Effectively communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, information exchange and employee education on key initiatives
Team Support & Administration
- Provide support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Group Managers in the preparation of presentations, marketing material and reports for the business, clients, and internal purposes.
- Provide accurate information and customer service to the client, internal stakeholders, external vendors, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.
- Assist with various administration tasks as required including payments, invoicing, supporting contracts administration, scheduling, onboarding of new staff and travel arrangements.
- Treat sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, reporting, systems, and procedures
About You:
This role will see you holding a relevant tertiary qualification and having previous experience in a Program Coordinator type role, where you will have supported senior leaders.
You will have:
- Demonstrated ability to identify capability needs and support development of targeted learning solutions
- Proficiency in use of Learning and Training Management Systems (i.e. Success Factors)
- Ability to understand Human Resource and L&D requirements to develop and implement programs of works to meet business needs
- Ability to think critically and identify process improvements
- A high level of computer literacy and knowledge of relevant software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite)
- Experience in corporate and enterprise processes, governance, and procedures
