The European Train Control System (ETCS) project will deliver a new generation signalling system to modernise the inner-city rail network and will enable increased capacity and reliability for our customers.
About the role
Our dedicated ETCS team now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Coordinator to join them on a 4-year contract basis to assist and provide co-ordination support to project managers for the delivery of Queensland Rail's activities for the ETCS and Cross River Rail (CRR) project.
This is a varied, hands-on role which will see you working with a range of stakeholders across multiple sections of the ETCS team. A typical day could include arranging and administering meetings and events, maintaining registers, coordinating work activities, managing calendars and assisting with reporting, all of course while providing general program coordination and administration support to the team.
Position responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Project and Program Management and Delivery documentation.
• Coordinate, plan and administer project meetings. Develop and maintain all Project Governance documentation, Project Definition, Project Scope, Stakeholder Plan and Options Analysis on behalf of Project and Program Managers.
• Attend meetings and produce adequate records of meetings and agreed actions.
• Produce reporting documentation, including gathering and analysis of data and other inputs.
• Produce meeting documentation and presentation packages on behalf of Project and Program Managers.
• Assist Project Managers in all relevant Project related activities to ensure requirements are addressed, issues are managed and opportunities for improvement are identified and addressed.
• Coordinate and implement the delivery of project activities in accordance with the Project Plan on behalf of Project Managers.
• Manage and coordinate calendars and room bookings as required to support the performance of the role.
About you
This is a key role in the team which will see you supporting and working with multiple stakeholders on an important and high-profile program. To hit the ground running and thrive in this role, you will need previous experience working on significant projects, excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment. Previous document management/ control and reporting experience would be highly regarded but are not essential as full training will be provided.
