Program Director

About the role Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director to lead a Queensland State Government Service Modernisation Program. This program will deliver a comprehensive program of work which will improve the way Queenslanders in vulnerable situations interact with frontline services, provide a single source of truth for data, and provide our client with the agility to respond to the changing needs of Queenslanders through reducing the complexity of our client’s ICT ecosystem. The Program Director will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer and will be responsible for the overall delivery and governance of SMP objectives. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice, leadership and execution on the design, development, implementation and delivery of Program governance and reporting Lead and manage the Service Modernisation Program project teams to ensure execution and delivery of program objectives, on time and within budget Provide timely and expert advice to Program executive’s and sponsors on the delivery of program objectives Establish program level change management and benefit realisation strategies with primary stakeholders Prepare and deliver a range of communications to stakeholders, team members and stakeholders, to ensure that others are fully briefed on program objectives, tasks, and progress Identify and evaluate risk and manage through appropriate mitigation strategies, to ensure program success Provide exceptional leadership, build resilience, and work collaboratively across multi-functional teams whilst effectively managing uncertainty and change Skills and experience Proven experience in managing overall delivery and governance Experience in establishing program level change management and benefit realisation strategies Service Modernisation Programs experience Benefits Initial 12-month contract with potential extensions Contribute to initiatives that support Queenslanders in vulnerable situations Use your leadership skills to manage a Service Modernisation Program Contact details For a confidential chat, please contact Jinal on 0473 567 *** or via email at *****@exclaim-it.com.au and we would be more than happy to provide you with additional information and assist in the application process.
