Our client requires a Program Director Governance to join their busy team for a temporary period of 6 – 12 months. This is with a government client based in Perth’s western suburbs. This role will be managing a team of people including Project Managers, Procurement, HR, Risk & Compliance.Your new role
As a Program Director Governance, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and improve the organisation's governance framework, including planning and risk, audit and compliance and stakeholder engagement.
- Set up and maintain the program office
- Report to the executive director on updates
- Managing a team of project staff and providing a high level of leadership
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
- Extensive leadership experience within managing governance frameworks
- Preferably public sector industry experience
- Team management and/ or project management experience
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing quality assurance and budget reports
- Experience developing compliance documents and risk management plans
