Program Director Governance

Our client is currently seeking a Program Director Governance to join their team.

Your new company 
Our client requires a Program Director Governance to join their busy team for a temporary period of 6 – 12 months. This is with a government client based in Perth’s western suburbs. This role will be managing a team of people including Project Managers, Procurement, HR, Risk & Compliance.Your new role 
As a Program Director Governance, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and improve the organisation's governance framework, including planning and risk, audit and compliance and stakeholder engagement. 
• Set up and maintain the program office
• Report to the executive director on updates 
• Managing a team of project staff and providing a high level of leadership

What you'll need to succeed 
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

• Extensive leadership experience within managing governance frameworks
• Preferably public sector industry experience 
• Team management and/ or project management experience 
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience developing quality assurance and budget reports
• Experience developing compliance documents and risk management plans
