APG are currently seeking a Program Engagement Officer for a government assignment based in Townsville, QLD.
The Role:
- Full-time temporary employment
- Pay Rate: $57.00 + Super AO4
- Commencing ASAP to 11 December 2026
- 5 days per week, 36.25 hours per week
The AO4 Program Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Customer and Stakeholder Management (CSM) team within Northern Districts. The primary responsibility will be to address the shortfall of specialised resources required for community engagement and communication services across Northern Districts' active and upcoming projects. Specifically, the officer will focus on building strong relationships with external stakeholders impacted by the Riverway Drive Stage 2 project (RWD2) and implementing strategies to ensure successful engagement with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, particularly those affected by the Riverway Drive Stage 2 project.
- Web Development: Update and maintain project web pages, including the Riverway Drive Stage 2 project page, and provide analytic reports and updates as necessary.
- Social Pinpoint: Develop and manage Social Pinpoint web pages to facilitate community engagement and feedback.
- Communication Materials: Produce proactive communication materials such as media statements, flyers, construction updates, and newsletters.
- Issue Resolution: Address low-level stakeholder issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Correspondence Management: Manage correspondence tracker to ensure timely responses to stakeholder inquiries.
- Data Management: Source stakeholder contact details and lot number information, and enter them into spreadsheets and consultation manager.
