The role
This role holds significant influence over business operations, emphasising people management and project delivery expertise. As a key member of Dyno Nobel's team in the West, you will oversee a group of Project Managers responsible for delivering a range of diverse asset types. The portfolio includes customer facing operations in Hard Rock and Iron Ore mine sites and depots, and manufacturing plants in Kalgoorlie, and Port Hedland. Based in Perth, this position may entail occasional domestic travel between sites.

Key Accountabilities:
Initiate, develop, and execute projects across all front end loading and execution stages, ensuring comprehensive management from start to finish.
Formulate competent multidisciplinary project teams, establish effective project leadership, and foster a culture of coaching to drive performance toward project objectives.
Foster clear and concise communication and cultivate strong relationships with the site leadership team.
This role is integral to supporting Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific's operations by ensuring the delivery of assets that meet safety, functional, cost-effective, and timely operational needs.
About you:
We seek a candidate with a strong background in project management and exceptional leadership and people management abilities. The ideal candidate is focused on people, action-oriented, confident, and capable of effective customer communication. Additionally, you should possess:
- Bachelor of Engineering qualification
- Project management expertise
- Proficient leadership skills
- Action-oriented mindset
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary project teams and contractors
- Demonstrated experience in project management systems, front-end loading, and design management.
- Proficiency in project safety management and risk management systems.
