The role
We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager to support the continued success and growth of our national rail safety program; the Rail Industry Worker (RIW) program.
The RIW program is utilised by almost 6,000 organisations and almost 100,000 rail workers across Australia.
As Program Manager, you will provide administrative governance of national Committees, stakeholder engagement with clients, support project delivery and enhancements, identify and support business development opportunities and ensure strong general communication of our Rail Industry Worker (RIW) program and its benefits.
RIW is an online competency management system that allows rail organisations to manage the health and skills of their workforce in one system. It provides a single, central location to record the qualifications, fit for work requirements and site access of their employees and contractors.

About you
You will have the following attributes:
- Experience in the rail and vocational training industries highly desirable.
- Ability to establish strong working and stakeholder relationships.
- Project and contract management and administration skills.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with a capacity to provide quality customer service to internal and external clients at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Be available for interstate travel as required.

NOTE: We are open to this position being a 4 day or 5 day working week or a 9-day fortnight.
Flexible work environment (currently our team works from home on Mondays and Fridays).
Car park, mobile phone allowance and laptop provided.
Additional days of annual leave are provided for our team over the Christmas break.
