y Client, a leading organisation within the NSW Rail industry, is seeking aProgram Manager to join their Business Transformation team.This is a hybrid role, whereby you will be required to go into the office 3 days a week. The office is located in North West Sydney, so if this doesn't suit you, please don't apply.
They also need someone to start ASAP, so if you have a one month notice period, I'm sorry, this isn't the job for you. They will wait 2 weeks max but will show preference to candidates who are immediately available.

In the role, you will manage the delivery of assigned projects with varying complexity and ensure that time, cost, quality, safety targets, expectations and requirements are met.
Key Challenges & Responsibilities:
- Deliver tasks assigned by the Head of Business Transformation to contribute to the planning and delivery of complex projects.
- This role with be split across two major projects. Three days a week, you will manage the delivery of a data heavy Workforce Optimsation project which is mid-flight. The other two days, you will manage an Emergency Response Improvement Program which will involve a lot of governance and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding and application of best practice project management and safety principles to achieve targets and provide excellent client service.
- Facilitate input from team members and other stakeholders and prepare Project Plans to manage the planning and delivery of assigned projects.
- Deliver tasks in accordance with budgets and advise relevant Leaders of cost budgets for tasks assigned to contribute to business performance.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in project/program management, with a strong emphasis on governance, stakeholder management, and delivering high-profile projects within fixed timescales
- Specific experience in Workforce Optimisation/Implementation/Management projects or Emergency Response/Management projects would be a big plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in roles such as test management, data management, rostering, scheduling, and payroll project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and working with difficult stakeholders, both internal and external, in a commercial environment
- Experience in leading and delivering projects that require meticulous attention to detail while maintaining a clear view of the big picture.
- Previous experience in managing projects with significant impact on business operations and strategic objectives.
