Program Manager (So) - Culture Change | Hr

Troocoo are working with Queensland Government on a new position within a high-profile department, we are currently recruiting an SO Program Manager to lead a new HR project team on a fixed term initial 12-month direct contract. As the Program Manager you will lead and manage the delivery team and program of strategic initiatives for enhanced governance, decision-making, and cultural change, that support a range of industry bodies and integrity programs, as well as providing critical advice and support to the Commissioner.Some of the Key responsibilities in this role include;

• Lead the development and delivery of a portfolio of projects and leveraging resources to maximise efficiencies and achieve required outcomes.
• Lead all aspects of project development, implementation, and closure across a portfolio of change projects, including preparing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
• Implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, and project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues and assess project progress and overall effectiveness.
• Lead the project team (internal and external), to deliver all key project milestones and outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships through the provision of expert advice, effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met.
• Providing expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have demonstrated experience in high level HR program management within a large and complex organisation and have delivered on new HR projects. This role requires high level stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders often on complex and sensitive issues so to be successful in this role you will deal comfortably with uncertainty and manage risks to make quality decisions regardless of constraints such as limited information available. You will have proven ability to make good decisions that can be publicly upheld, based on analysis of available information, and the application of sound judgement to manage risk. In your previous roles you will have led a culture of achievement, have strived for quality outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risks that may impede success.
