The Industrial Workforce Directorate is seeking Industry Policy & Program Officers to join our team. We are responsible for domestic and international efforts to support Australian Industry to effectively attract, grow, develop, qualify and retain the industrial nuclear-powered submarine (NPS) workforce. 

As the APS 5 Industrial Workforce Policy & Program Officer, you will: 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and associated programs to promote workforce participation in domestic and international programs consistent with ASA objectives.
  • Liaise with relevant industry, state and federal government, internal and external stakeholders to support the co-development of initiatives to uplift, grow and deliver Australian industrial workers.
  • Assist in preparation and development of submissions, briefs and reports to senior executives and provide advice on workforce issues.
  • Investigate, analyse and provide advice on relevant policies and programs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and procedures.
