The City is seeking a Programs and Venues Officer to coordinate venue hire of the event spaces at the City of Perth Library and actively contributes to the promotion, organisation and delivery of the Library’s program of events.
This position will support the City by:
- Coordinating and facilitating events, negotiating logistics, risks, customer needs and audio-visual requirements
- Developing, planning and organising Programs and events for the City of Perth Library
- Managing customer enquiries and feedback to encourage and optimise venue hire and use of Library facilities
- Providing onsite supervision for events held in the Library or at external venues
You will have excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment and the ability to exercise sound initiative and judgement to provide a high level of customer service
