About the Medicines and Technology Unit (MTU)
The Clinical Excellence Division is the focal point for clinical policy development, engagement with the clinical workforce and health research.
As a unit in the Clinical Excellence Division, the MTU provides governance frameworks to ensure safe and quality of care for patients involving medicines and health technology. Our team also supports clinical practice improvement programs which use data to review clinical variation and inform quality improvement projects.
Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced individual for the fixed term position of Principal Project Officer - Sepsis Program. This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment until 31 December 2025.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the sepsis pathway project, to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Lead the delivery of the sepsis pathway projects.
- Liaise with clinical educators at a hospital level to coordinate training requirements for the sepsis pathway implementation.
- Clinical engagement with health professionals across Health Service Providers to support implementation of sepsis pathways – paediatric, maternal and adult.
- Manage sepsis project working groups, to deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes.
