As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Accounting Manager to join their growing and dynamic team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review General Ledger reconciliations
- Prepare project cost and equity reconciliations
- Review monthly and quarterly Capital Calls
- Oversee BAS reporting and GST reconciliations
- Collaborate with Project Accountants for accurate cash flow forecasting
- Provide accurate reporting for JV partners
- Liaise with external consultants for tax, compliance, and audit obligations
- Maintain ledger balances to high standards
- Key role in analytics and tracking during project settlements
- Assist with process improvements across the Finance Team
- Manage three Project Accountants
- Perform other reasonable duties as required
- Regular monitoring of projects through budgeting, risk management, and financial reviews
- Management of cash flows and reporting for projects
- Timely and accurate internal and external reporting
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Accounting; CPA or CA qualifications preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of proven experience, including prior experience in a management role
- In-depth understanding of Australian accounting practices and standards
- Prior experience in the Property Development industry is essential
- Experience within the Financial Services Industry is highly regarded
- Self-directed, organised, and solution-focused
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
- Excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and finance system software
