Purpose of the Position
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Projects Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a strong work ethic, and be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Project Administrator will play a critical role in supporting project managers and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
Nature and Scope
The project administrator is to manage the day-to-day admin tasks and provide administration assistance to Construction Managers, Project Managers and Site Managers across multiple construction projects.
The project administrator reports to and work collaboratively with the Group Operations Manager and Construction Managers.
(Includes but not limited to)
- Provide administrative support to office and site based management.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Support project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules and timelines.
- Communicate with project team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Compile and analyse project data to identify trends and report on project performance.
- Maintain project files and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
- Maintain quality and safety documentation
- Adhere to project management best practices and guidelines.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of administrative experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
