Projects andManufacturing department
Our solutionsare client focused integrating client specifications in our system designs,technical requirements, and fabrication. You will mostly be executing projects,creating General Arrangement, and resulting Fabrication drawings. You couldalso be asked to assist in the bidding phase to provide the initial designs.The Energy sector related projects require a lot of documentation and technicalcommunication with suppliers, you will also be doing project engineering.
The projectteam has experience supplying fully custom designed firefighting systems orupgrade packages directly to Australian operators but also to Greenfield’sprojects for fixed platforms, FPSO's, FLNG's etc build in internationalfabrication yards.
The projectteam has the internal support of SMEs, and close cooperation with the servicedepartment as well who build, test, commission, and service the system. Thisteam approach with skills from different levels creates integration of theory,compliance with rules and regulations as well as operation, maintenance andservice being considered in the system designs.
Our workshop isfor assembly and testing of systems or testing of concepts before integratingin system designs and deliveries to clients. The strong established relationswith OEMs of piping, valves, frames/cabinets, and instrumentation with thelocally designed, fabricated, and assembled systems provides Incos Engineeringa leading edge in project delivery, design, service, and support.
About the Role
As Project Design Engineer you will report to the Project Manager, your responsibilities include designing the systems and fabrication drawings ensuring projects comply
with engineering and documentation requirements, working to project schedules assisting with drawings and documentation assuring these are submitted as planned while working alongside other professionals.
Your input might also be requested to assist with bids, liaising with external stakeholders and attending meetings.
Your normal working location will be at our Canning Vale office with the potential to work from home.
Your dutieswill include, but are not limited to:
· Preparation of GA Drawings and Fabricationdrawings for piping, frames, tanks and cabinets meeting client specificationsand project specific standards and design requirements
· Preparation of hook-up drawings, name and tagplates, and project welding and NDE documentation
· Resolve design issues in cooperation withengineering department
· Project required documentation for client reviewand approval
· Be familiar with the project requirements,relevant rules and regulations, standards, and specifications
· Defining or checking of BOM list and assist withtechnical requisitions for procurement for suppliers
· Participate in meetings and providing input andupdates
· Liaising with fabricators

KeyRequirements:
· Inventor (preferred) or SolidWorks CADdegree/training certificate is essential
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in MechanicalEngineering or related/equivalent (highly desirable)
· 2+ years’ work experience as a Designer for anengineering company, preferably related to the Energy sector, Petrochemical,Specialised Marine or Aviation (desirable)
· Strong focus on quality and Safety
· Right to work and live in Australia
· 2+ years’ work experience with (or stronginterest in) Project Engineering (desirable)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Good interpersonal skills, self-confidence,problem solving attitude and ability to multitask
